Asian Sesame Salad

Romaine lettuce

1 bell pepper, julienned
1 c. snow peas, julienned
1/8 c. onion, julienned
1/4 c. diced tomatoes
1 tsp. garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. grated peeled ginger
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. water
2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
1 tsp. sesame seeds, toasted and crushed with side of heavy knife

Wash, spin dry and chop lettuce. Saute bell peppers, snow peas, onion – use a very hot wok and add sesame oil and chopped garlic. Mix red pepper flake, soy sauce, water, and vinegar and grated ginger in a separate bowl. Toss dressing with lettuce and wok vegetables. Garnish on top with diced tomatoes and sesame seeds.
